Field Technician: Security and Access Control

Available Position

This current opening is for a Security and Access Control Technician. Team members who are willing to learn, are self-motivated, have strong communications skills, and can promote long lasting relationships will thrive at CIS. Team members must have a passion to proactively engage in every opportunity to ensure complete, prompt and efficient technology solutions to all our customers.

Typical Duties:

• Configure, test, and commission new security systems
• Perform Maintenance and Service on existing systems
• Troubleshoot basic network hardware and software
• Provide IT field support
• Installation of cable pathway and various cable types and connectivity
• Installation of electronic headend equipment and devices
• Assist with system design and consultation where applicable
• Interpret blueprints and schematic drawings
• Train and educate customers

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Relevant industry experience preferred
• Ability to adapt and learn new technology hardware and software
• Technically proficient
• High problem-solving competency
• Effective communication and organization skills
• Healthy in fast paced environment
• Leads, mentors, and motivates others
